01 Choose the context

    ⊙

Sensitive filenames and common secret patterns are blocked. This is a heuristic, not a security audit. Review the pack before sharing it.

    0–0estimated tokens

Token range is a rough character-based estimate, not a model tokenizer.

A SMALL TOOL FOR A CLEARER HANDOFF

Context is more useful when it has an order.

    01 /

    Start with the question

Add a short task description. Tell the assistant what matters, what to preserve, and what a good answer looks like.

    02 /

    Bring only relevant files

Use the arrows to arrange source files and notes. Skip generated builds, dependency folders, private records, and large logs.

    03 /

    Review, then share

Read the preview before copying it into your chosen assistant. Its privacy rules apply when you share the pack there.

    Good to know

Does ContextPack send my files to an AI?

No. File reading, checks, and Markdown assembly happen in this browser. ContextPack does not call an AI model. Only you decide whether to share the exported pack elsewhere.

    Which files can I use?

Common text, Markdown, code, JSON, YAML, CSV, and configuration formats are supported. Files must be UTF-8 text. Binary files, credential filenames, and files over 1 MB are rejected.

    Will it find every secret?

No. It checks common key formats and suspicious assignments only. It can miss sensitive data or flag harmless examples. Never rely on it as your only review.

Why is the token count a range?

Models tokenize text differently, especially code and multilingual text. The range is a planning aid; use your model provider's tokenizer for a precise count.
